I decided to try an upward pointing branch. I girdled the branch with a grafting knife and wrapped the wound with moist sphagnum moss...
The wound was treated with powdered plant growth regulator...
Then wrapped that in plastic...
and the whole mess with foil...
And now we wait...
I hate waiting.
